To make his dream come true, he studied for 10 to 14 hours He strictly followed his teacher and the NCERT book. About the coaching, he shared that to get top rank in NEET you have to take coaching but if your target is only good rank then with some guidance you can do that.

The most important thing he shared, rather than following third person strategy one should follow their strategy.

Deric Joseph: He not only did well in NEET but also in AIIMS and JIPMER. His rank in NEET was 6 with the score of 691.His rank in AIIMS and JIPMER was 16 and 17 respectively.He said, “In my initial days, I use to study for 4 hours in a day and the later part, I dedicated 10 hours for studies. Candidate should focus mainly on NCERT books for biology while for chemistry and physics, they should work for clearing concept.

Unlike other toppers, he was active on social networks like Facebook and WhatsApp. Also, to keep himself stress-free he played games and read novels.
